BKB-M is an additive designed to prevent sedimentation in cement slurries. It is formulated from clays to guarantee good performance in slurries with sedimentation problems. BKB-M can be used in high and low density slurries.
Advantages and benefits:
- When the product is used in slurries lightened with CSPHE-07 and/or glass bubbles, BKB-M reduces and eliminates free water and it avoids cement sedimentation.
- It prevents densifying material sedimentation in densified slurries, keeping them disperse all along the slurry.
- It does not change filtering values.
- It increases slightly rheologic values depending on use concentration.
- BKB-M gives the slurry a thixotropic effect generating a rigid structure when it is at rest. This fact implies a high yield point, although once the slurry is in movement it flows freely.
- It is compatible with all OCS cementing additives.
